Three years ago, we reported on plans to release a fan-produced concert film documenting Nine Inch Nails’ purportedly final concert: a monster 3.5-hour, 37-song set performed Sept. 10, 2009, at Los Angeles’ Wiltern Theatre. Now, with Trent Reznor having just announced plans to reunite NIN, the film is here.

Trent Reznor resurrects Nine Inch Nails for U.S. arena tour, concerts worldwide

Four years since retiring the live incarnation of Nine Inch Nails, frontman Trent Reznor this morning announced he is resurrecting the band with a new lineup that includes King Crimson guitar whiz Adrian Belew and former Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, and will mount a U.S. arena tour this fall and dates worldwide in 2014.

Long-running darkwave favorites Clan of Xymox — still centered around founding member Ronny Moorings — this fall will pay tribute to some of its own favorite bands with a collection called ‘Kindred Spirits’ that will feature covers of tracks by The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie and the Banshees and both Joy Division and New Order.
