Soft Cell will release their first new album in 20 years this May, but before that, the duo has teamed up with Pet Shop Boys to rework one of the songs on the record.
The much-anticipated North American “Unity Tour” by electronic-music giants New Order and Pet Shop Boys has been hit with a second year-long delay due to “continuing uncertainty caused by the COVID pandemic, ” the two groups announced Tuesday. Check out the new dates right here.
New Order has announced its first hometown concert in four years, a large outdoor gig with Hot Chip and Working Men’s Club at Manchester’s Heaton Park in September that will precede the group’s rescheduled U.S. tour with the Pet Shop Boys later that month. Full details right here.
After teasing something since last week, New Order today announced it will debut “Be a Rebel,” the group’s first new single in five years, on BBC’s Radio 2 on Tuesday morning, music that comes as the band should have been on a hugely anticipated, but now delayed, U.S. tour with Pet Shop Boys.
