For this week’s installment of Vintage Video, we offer up what was, at the time, the final performance by Jane’s Addiction, a concert on Sept. 26, 1991, in Honolulu that saw frontman Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins strip completely naked for several songs at the end of the main set. Last week Jane’s Addiction received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of debut studio album Nothing’s Shocking, the band played a short set for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” part of which was aired on last night’s show and posted on the program’s YouTube channel.
Jane’s Addiction has done a fairly good job keeping details of its forthcoming album ‘The Great Escape Artist’ under wraps — a tracklist has yet to be revealed, for example — but the band’s label, Capitol Records, has now released the cover art for the record.

The long-out-of-print Jane’s Addiction film “Gift” — a semi-autobiographical, drug-and-music filled feature created by frontman Perry Farrell and then-girlfriend Casey Niccoli — will receive its first-ever DVD release this year, Farrell announced via Twitter tonight.
