Elvis Costello to release cover of Squeeze’s ‘Someone Else’s Heart’ for Record Store Day

Elvis Costello will release a 7-inch single on Record Store Day featuring a cover of Squeeze’s “Someone Else’s Heart” — off 1981’s East Side Story, which he co-produced — that was recorded in 2011 with members and associates of hip-hop collective The Roots. Full details right here.

Squeeze this week announced the release of the group’s first new studio album in two years, a 12-song collection called The Knowledge that is due out Oct. 13 and is preceded by the record’s moody opener, “Innocence in Paradise,” which you can stream in full below. Check out the first track here.
