The Afghan Whigs and Built to Spill will team up for a 24-date North American co-headlining tour this spring, taking their alt-rock guitar stylings out on the road for a tour that opens April 11 in Madison, Wisc., and wrap ups May 15 in Seattle. Tickets for all shows go on sale this Friday.

The Afghan Whigs announce 28-city North American tour in support of ‘In Spades’

As The Afghan Whigs prepare to release their second post-reunion album, In Spades, on Friday, the Greg Dulli-helmed outfit this week announced a 28-city North American tour in support of the record this September and October. The Whigs also have released a music video for In Spades track “Oriole.”

The Afghan Whigs will release their second post-reunion album, In Spades, on May 5 on Sub Pop Records, and today gave fans their second taste of the record with the release of “Arabian Height,” which you can stream here. The single follows the video release of “Demon in Profile.”
