Between The Psychedelic Furs’ late-spring and early-fall runs of shows in the northeastern and southwestern portions of the U.S., the band will return to its native U.K. for a seven-date tour this summer that includes the band’s previously announced slot at the Hop Farm Festival.

Having just wrapped up a run of spring U.S. dates across the northeast and midwest, The Psychedelic Furs have announced a new batch of American concerts in late spring and early fall, including two dates supporting The Go-Gos in California in late September.

New Wave/synthpop combo Animotion — which reunited in 2008 and have toured sporadically since — played a gig in Atlantic City, N.J., last weekend, and mixed in with its ’80s favorites (‘Obsession,’ ‘Let Him Go,’ ‘I Engineer’) came this surprise cover of Depeche Mode’s monster hit ‘Enjoy the Silence.’
