The playlist from tonight’s ‘Dark Wave’ on Sirius XM’s classic-alt station 1st Wave boasts an unusual number of deep, rarely aired cuts from regulars such as Siouxsie and the Banshees (the band’s cover of The Doors’ ‘You’re Lost Little Girl’), the Psychedelic Furs (’Imitation of Christ’), The Jesus and Mary Chain (’Catchfire’) and Love and Rockets (’Holiday on the Moon’).

The Psychedelic Furs will follow their upcoming American tour by returning to the U.K. this fall for a short run of dates that will see the band performing its 1981 album ‘Talk Talk Talk’ in its entirety, plus ‘an encore set of some of their other classics.’

After touring the U.S. last year in a somewhat odd paring with the Happy Mondays, New Wave icons Psychedelic Furs return to North America from late May through early July with a 25-date club tour.
