Steven Severin hints Siouxsie and the Banshees’ final 4 reissues coming Sept. 15

Bassist Steven Severin hinted this weekend that the final four titles in Siouxsie and the Banshees’ catalog finally will receive expanded reissues Sept. 15, more than four years after Universal Music pulled the plug on the band’s reissue campaign midstream.

Universal Music is planning a 30th anniversary box set of The Jam’s chart-topping 1982 album The Gift — featuring one of Paul Weller and Co.’s best-known singles, “Town Called Malice” — and is asking fans to submit memorabilia such as “photos, tour tickets, posters or newspaper articles” for inclusion in the reissue.

The Sex Pistols only released a single studio album during their short initial career, but it’s certainly a landmark — and, fittingly, Universal Music this fall will commemorate the 35th anniversary of ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols’ by turning that 11-track album into a four-disc ‘super deluxe’ box set.
