Tuesday marks the 25th anniversary of Depeche Mode’s iconic “Concert For the Masses,” a daylong show at the 100,000-seat Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., that also featured performances by Wire, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Thomas Dolby — and was, of course, filmed and recorded for ‘101.’

Wire streams new album ‘Change Becomes Us,’ announces U.S. tour dates

Wire this week released their 13th studio album ‘Changes Becomes Us,’ and instead of offering the increasingly popular pre-release stream, the band is going for post-release: the full album, billed as an “exploration of unrecorded material originally written in 1979-80,” is now streaming over at Pitchfork.

Wire resurrects unrecorded material from 1979-80 for new album ‘Change Becomes Us’

U.K. post-punk legends Wire today announced the release of their fourth post-reunion album and 13th overall, a 13-track collection called ‘Change Becomes Us’ that is due out next March and “began as an exploration of unrecorded material originally written in 1979-80,” according to an e-mail the band sent to fans.
