Download: Nirvana’s ‘Scoff,’ live bonus track from ‘Bleach’ 20th anniversary reissue

Nirvana, circa 1989

Sub Pop Records began taking pre-orders today for the 20th anniversary deluxe reissue of Nirvana’s 1989 debut Bleach as Pitchfork offered up the first taste of the set’s extras: an MP3 of “Scoff” recorded live at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Ore.

Due out Nov. 3, Bleach: Deluxe Edition will include the original 13-track album plus the 12-track Live at Pine Street Theatre packaged together on a single, expanded CD or double LP. Plus, the first run of the double LP will be on 180-gram white vinyl, mimicking Sub Pop’s original white-vinyl first pressing of Bleach.

The previously unreleased live set was recorded Feb. 9, 1990, at the Portland theater and includes the band’s cover of The Vaselines’ “Molly’s Lips.” The concert recording has been remixed from the original tapes by Bleach producer Jack Endino.
