Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave,’ 3/7/10

Sirius XM's 1st Wave

It’s that time of week, once again, to check in with the playlist from tonight’s “Dark Wave” on Sirius XM’s 1st Wave. While this week’s installment featured a host of all-too-usual suspects (The Cure’s “Other Voices,” Public Image Ltd.’s “Rise,” The Sisters of Mercy’s “Lucretia, My Reflection” and Siouxise and the Banshees’ “Slowdive”), there were, as always, some pleasant surprises, including “Bird Mad Girl” from the aforementioned Cure’s oft-maligned The Top, a dash of the always-welcome Chameleons and even a Chris Connelly track. You can tune in each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.

  1. Some early New Order from Movement would be nice. And lots more Skinny Puppy. How about some Portion Control or SPK too.
