Playlist: Sirius XM’s ‘Dark Wave,’ 8/8/10

1st Wave

And here we are, back again with another playlist from the weekly Sunday night “Dark Wave” show on Sirius XM’s classic alternative outlet 1st Wave. This week’s episode features many of the usual suspects — although not the oft-repeated Mission U.K. — plus some choice cuts from the likes of the Cocteau Twins (“In the Gold Dust Rush”), The Teardrop Explodes (“When I Dream”) and Bigod 20 (“Carpe Diem”).

“Dark Wave” airs each Sunday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern/7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.
