Video: OMD’s ‘If You Want It,’ first single off upcoming album ‘History of Modern’

With their first album in 14 years due out next month, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark last week released a video for “If You Want It,” the first single off the disc. The artsy clip, shown above, features bandmates Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys sitting in a theater watching a troupe of dancers writhing about onstage in various states of undress and face paint.

The “If You “Want It” single is due out Sept. 6 in the U.K. as a limited-edition yellow-vinyl 7-inch (backed by non-album track “Idea 1”), and the album itself, History of Modern, arrives Sept. 20 in the U.K. and Sept. 28 in the U.S. (see the full tracklist here).

Straight or gay, you have to appreciate the body of all these dancers. Wow, I’m jealous.

    Oh, good song too.
