New releases: David Sylvian ‘Victim of Stars’ best-of, Public Image Ltd. ‘Rockpalast’ live CD

 A Victim of Stars: 1982-2012
BACKSTORY: The former Japan frontman this week, in the U.K., releases a new 2CD, 31-track anthology of his solo career over the past three decades, including “The Ink and the Well,” “Forbidden Colours,” “Let the Happiness In” and “Every Colour You Are,” plus one new song (“Where’s Your Gravity?”).

Live at Rockpalast
 John Lydon and Co.’s 1983 performance on the German television show “Rockpalast” is released this week in the U.K. on CD (a DVD version already is available). The 13-track set includes performances of “Public Image,” “Flowers of Romance,” “Memories,” “Chant” and “Annalisa.”
