Johnny Marr unveils 30-date North American tour in support of new album ‘Playland’

Johnny Marr

Turns out those Johnny Marr tour dates that were posted to the ex-Smiths guitarist’s Facebook page prematurely last month weren’t wrong, they were just incomplete. Now, though, Marr has confirmed the full 30-date North American tour late this fall in support of Playland.

The trek, which follows Marr’s U.K. tour this fall, opens Nov. 9 in Washington, D.C., and runs a pair of dates in Los Angeles on Dec. 19 and 20 (see full tour dates below).

Playland is due out Oct. 6/7 via Warner Music., and is preceded by the single “Easy Money.”
