You played Minimal Compact a bit ago. Would like to ask for some more. Either

Not Knowing by Minimal Compact or
Ghosts Can’t Run Away by Foreign Affair (the band they started after Minimal Compact).

Thanks for the consideration. Have a great week.

  6. That guitar part in Luxuria’s ‘Redneck’ is a favourite. Thank you Matt for putting that up. It is our holiday weekend in Canada, so I was allowed to stay up late and listen to the entire show!

  7. Thank you for playing Laibach. I appreciate it. Your show is the best I listen to it every week. Brings back lots of memories.

  8. Loved the shoegaze segment last night especially. Do you think you could give Night Stalker by Super Heroines a play?

  9. I got outta work, ran to my car and was rewarded with Anne Clark to start my commute.
Would you consider ‘Heaven Help you Now’ by Paul Haig? I hope Scotland will be listening
    Thank you Matt. Never Stop!

For a future week, may I request some Tackhead? Either Reality with Gary Clail or Ticking Time Bomb, depending on the vibe you’re goin for.

Love the show, I think I’ll queue it up again right now…

  13. Please play “little boy soldiers” by The Jam.

  14. All Day is one of my personal favorite Ministry songs. Stealer set as always. Could we possibly do?

    Ministry- Over the Shoulder

    Please and thank you.

  15. But sincerely. That was a great set.

  21. Ah, just realized it’s been a year since Andrew Weatherall’s passing – would be great to hear his remix of MBV’s Soon…

  22. Creep Church

In honer of yo la tengo playing at primavera next year in 2022 i would like to hear the song “Speeding Motercycle “which is actually a cover of the song originally done by a great artist in both music and art the one and only Daniel Johnson .

  23. Evan Willey

oh dear, that’s what I get for knee-jerk posting after reading an out of date tweet. Andrew passed a year ago last Feb. Still a great remix though!

  24. Hi Matt

    Cetu Javu- Bad Dreams

    Thanks!

  25. Hey, Matt! Great show. I’d love to hear ‘I Am Stretched On Your Grave’ by Dead Can Dance

  26. Gradfine man

GBV is a great band but wouldn’t work for goth or industrial but a song thats done by the singer going solo is “instrumental beetle “ by Robert Pollard

  27. A few weeks back there was a song by a band I think it was called The Flaming Stars sounded pretty cool so if you could find anymore by them that would be cool but if not “Bullet with butterfly wings” by the smashing pumpkins would be another option. Thanx for a great show thast week great The Cure Tracks

  28. Sorry I meant last week
    Not thast week

  29. I am blown away that you played Virgin Prunes last week. The girl (Elise) who requested it is only 17 years old, and an “old soul” at heart, who ONLY listens to 80’s synth and related goth music. I recommended she request it and just see if you would play it. She was AMAZED that it happened. OMG. We just got her a record player and already got her started collecting records. (Virgin Prunes are her first two.) Thanks again! AMAZED!!!

  30. It would be cool if i could hear (hole like a head) by Nin
    Nine inch nails
Or (the top live bootleg version) by The cure

  31. Beatnik Punk

Puckerin up and down those avenues of sin…
