  6. Awesome show, as usual. I would like to politely throw in an industrial request for “False Prophets” by Mentallo & The Fixer for a future episode. Thanks.

  7. The set list looks absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to give this a listen. The genre isn’t the most kid friendly, but as I am rocking our two day old first born to sleep I realize that I’m going to be doing a wealth of late night listening which will hopefully develop a love for this music to a new generation. May I request:

    Siouxsie and the Banshees- Nightshift

Baby Emerald says please and thank you.

  8. Great show! Always have fun discovering new tunes or bands with the abundant selections.
    I’d like to request:

Daniel Ash – Coming Down Fast
    Skinny Puppy – Hexonxonx

Thanks & look forward to the next show!

  9. Drew Badger

    Requests:

  12. Outstanding setlist. Of course Sanctified being a personal favorite was good to hear. There is a live version of Crocodiles floating around that is really good. the next time you get the urge to play it, you might want to go digging around for it.

  13. Hello!
Would you play Blood by Flour?
    Have a great week!!

  14. Great set – always a highlight of the week. We typically listen as a family during sunday dinner, and my 11-year-old has slowly been moving from Alt Nation to… the Dark side. This week Killing Joke was a big hit w/her – thank you for contributing to a proper education!

A request that’s been rambling around in my head since you played Tame the other week: “If You See Kay” by the Poster Children. It’s a little past the 80s but fits, I think. If you do play it and call it out, could you let us know that it’s a request for Iris?

    Love the show!

  15. Thank you for letting the Dark Wave world hear Gun Club’s ‘Mother Juno’. I was working at a record distributor when it released, and played it at punishing volumes so everyone could enjoy it.

  16. Could you play a deep cut by the butthole surfers please the title is “the hurdy gurdy man” if so that would be awesome but if not “brap” by skinny puppy or “making plans for nigel “by xtc and possibly the song ” monkys gone to heaven ” by the pixies

  17. Love this show… excellent work.

How about another deep cut from the Smiths or Morrissey? Last week’s was great.

  18. Michael Wenk

People Are Strange – Echo and the Bunnymen version would be awesome please!

  19. Thanks for the Killing Joke! And now for something completely different – how about “The Saint Became a Lush” from Psyche?

  20. Lucretia – My Reflection by Sisters of Mercy

  21. For your consideration – Garbage cover of The Butterfly Collector originally by The Jam back in 79. Thanks

  22. Was thinking about Hungry Wolf by X, as that what my wife and I call people who wait for you to pull out of your parking space so they can take it lol. Can you play it please?

  23. Hauntedwhentheminutesdrag

Hey Matt!!!! Great show really cool hearing “Antagonism ” by Skinny Puppy that song brought back some memories it would be cool if you could possibly play something off of Sonic Youths album “EVOL Sister”
    THANKS!!!!!!

  24. Hey Matt, next Sunday is my bday.
I will be celebrating with a beer or six.
Can you please play To the Sky by the Cure?

    Thanks!
    S. Dave

  26. Bryan Ketler

Nine Inch Nails, “Sanctified” (Pretty Hate Machine)
    Front 242, “Take One” (Backcatalogue)
Skinny Puppy, “Antagonism” (Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse)

Now that there is what I consider a kick-ass industrial block.

  27. Frelly Grudge

Hey Matt Would you be able to play a more instrumental psychedelic post punk song by the band the Mermen the song title is “Crill Slip’n” and if its not quite dark enough than could you play any song by the June Brides , Or James Dean Driving Experience.
