  1. Can you dig up “Red Shoes” by Throwing Muses for next Sunday’s show? Thanx!

  2. Feetgroundhardseat

Hey Matt i would like to request a sort of different request than normal but could you possibly play “Louise” or “The Lebanon” By The Human League

  3. Tonight’s show was excellent! I especially loved the last set of music.

  4. For next week or week beyond can you dig up some

    Joy Division – Komakino
    New Order – The Him
Siouxsie and The Banshees – Red Lights
    Ministry – So What
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry – Heaven
Depeche Mode – Boys Say Go

  5. Thanks for playing The Fall tonight!, And A Certain Ratio!!
Request- ‘God Forbid’ by the Wild Swans.
I love your show so much!!

  6. If this is of the script for a request, since I have never heard this band on Darkwave, and it’s a B side, so I have a Plan B!
Plan A: “Dominator” by Porno For Pyros.
And Plan B: “My Time” by Jane’s Addiction.
I can almost guarantee neither of these songs have been played on radio, but if there’s a place that they can, it’s Darkwave!!!!!!
And muchas thx for keeping criminally under rated bands like Sister Machone Gun, Cabaret Voltaire, Rosetta Stone, KMFDM, Tubeway/Numan, Coil, Skinny Puppy, Alien Sex Fiend, Danse Society, Kommunity FK, Christian Death, Clock DVA, F7A, et al ALIVE!!!!!!!!

    This block right here:

    Ministry, “Just Like You” (Twitch)
Front Line Assembly, “Shutdown” (Gashed Senses & Crossfire)
    Skinny Puppy, “Hexonxonx” (Rabies)
Pailhead, “Man Should Surrender” (Side Trax)

That was my life in my late teens and early 20’s. Thank you!

  9. Hi Matt I have a request. Since it’s the 30th anniversary of Lollapalooza I would like to request Siouxsie and The Banshees’ “The Last Beat of My Heart” live version from Lollapalooza ’91.

  10. Hi Matt,
Great show last night, as usual.
How about “No Love Lost” by Joy Division for next week? Thanks!

  11. Matt- nice lineup this week and tough to choose a favorite hour. After studying each hour, I believe there’s a little more meat in hour 1. Super job! I would like to hear Killing Joke Goodbye to the Village. Have a great week all.

  12. Scott Kavanagh

Enjoying the show from Raleigh NC. Would love to hear “Stripped (Highland Mix)” by Depeche Mode if it fits well into one of next week’s blocks. Peace.

  13. Matt, I’ve been moving house but keeping up with your shows over the last month or so and they have all been excellent. Since I’ve never heard you play this and it has some roots in shoegaze/dream pop, I’m requesting the following:

    Seefeel – More Like Space

Thank you for keeping it dark.

  14. Considering the Tokyo Olympics kick off this weekend, I was thinking it might be appropriate to play “Life In Tokyo” by Japan. Maybe even make it the 12” version? Thanks.

(Sorry I’m always requesting Japan lmao. Your show tends to be the only one that plays them.)

  15. Matt, I read your mind!
Thanks for playing To the Sky!

  16. Marc almond “slut”
Soft cell “where was your heart”

Are you only allowed to play certain permitted artists and tracks? Seems a limited set of things get played on this show

  17. Hi Matt! The show was excellent on Sunday, I loved the Prunes song, as you know I’m a big fan. I would love to hear Rosegarden Funeral of Sores from Bauhaus, it is one of my favorites.

  18. Could you play” Haunted house” By Danny and the Nightmares
Better known as Daniel Johnston and the nightmares

  19. Punk rock girl

Good picks last Sunday Matt i was thinking maybe a shoegaze block for this Sunday communion . Maybe along the lines of Mojave 3 ,Mogwai or Minor Victorians. And I also realize that those bands are from the later 90s and early 2000 but theres always plan B with Slowdive ,Sonic youth ,My bloody valentine, Galaxie 500, Mazzy Star / Opal and also the Cocteau twins . But of course its always your decision. And for all i care you can even go a completely different direction for the choices of music as long as its good music .

  20. Good summer DW set!

  21. Still enjoying the show.
How about this one? Depeche Mode – Are People People?
    Thank you!

  22. Greg fisher

I think it may be too late to make a request but if possible can you play “Thats entertainment ” covered by Morrissey and David Bowie

  23. If you’re feeling industrial, do you mind playing “Where You at Now/Crash and Burn” for the one and only Jim Anderson?
