  1. You’ve made me come to enjoy Anne Clark over the years. Thank you for the Twitch. Could I please request:

The Monochrome Set- Eine Symphonie des Grauens

This will be a repeat listen for sure. These are my favorites.

  2. Great show tonight!

  3. Kevin C Kuenkler

    Wonderful show as always!!! Gary Neuman is coming to my town this September and I was wondering if you could play;

    “Mercy”

Kinda get me in the mood for his concert
    Take care!!!

  4. Fernando N

One of my favorite lesser-known songs from The Church “When You Were Mine”

  5. A note on The Cure’s “Forever”: Matt mentioned that the song never was recorded in the studio, but that’s only sort of half true. Forever is based on the instrumental “Three” from Seventeen Seconds.

There are a few bootleg recordings out there of them doing versions of the song with other lyrics as well, including a pretty well-known variation as a morbid Happy Birthday song.

    Here’s the original version:

Forever is altered so much that it barely resembles the original song, but the chord structure is the same. The version that played last night from the 1984 “Concert” album has different lyrics than a lot of the other versions that showed up on the bootlegs I was collecting around that same time.

  6. Secession AND Minimal Compact?! My head just blew off!!!

  7. Great show, Matt.

If I could make a request, I’ve noticed that you play a lot of stuff from the US, Britain, Germany, Belgium, and France. But what about Yugoslavia? As such, for next week’s show, I’d like to request “Program Tvog Kompjutera” by Denis & Denis.

    See you next week!

  8. Lydia LaValley

You have helped me compile the most amazing Dark Wave playlist. I had my heart destroyed Mortal Kombat-style, and all this music is really helping to get me through it.

Request, please! “Double Dare” by Bauhaus.

Thank you for all you do!!

  9. Hey Matt, spring brings hapoy thoughts. This is a playful melody.

    Please play

Bow wow wow – do you want to hold me.

    • That song always takes me back to being in high school and absolutely adoring MTV. That and Altered Images “I Could Be Happy” bring a smile every time!!

  10. Hi Matt,

This seams like a must have.
    The cure- disintigration

  11. Happy sunday to all.

    Slice up this song please.

Jesus and mary chain- blues from a gun

  12. The House of Love – Yer Eyes

  13. Super awesome playlist cannot wait to listen to it in its entirety. Spectacular!!! A few choices for consideration

    Risingson – Massive Attack
    Suede – Animal Nitrate

  14. BTW thank you for the New Order. For my money there is no better synth intro!!!

    • Tina, you’re right those synths are majestic. Then followed by that odd Hohner Melodica line for the human touch.

  15. Sinful episode.

    This week’s Darkness Award:
    Depeche Mode, “Sea of Sin”

    “It gets wetter and wetter
As it gets better and better”

  16. Eric DeRoos

Alien Sex Fiend – Mine’s Full of Maggots

  17. What a great show this week. Lot of stuff I haven’t heard. I feel like I need to revisit Lush.
I have a fun request for next week. A band I discovered on Wax Trax back in the day that I really enjoyed.

Greater Than One – Why Do Men Have Nipples?(G-Force)

  18. Yet another amazing show!

    Here are some requests –

    Snake Corps – Animals All

And perhaps something off of the newly remastered Surrender compilation by Suicide?

    Thanks!

  23. I am aware that the band Can is a band from the 70s but I thought I would throw this out there “Mushroom” by CanI feel this song would have been a big influence on the songs we know and love.

  24. Requests for upcoming shows:

Sad Lovers and Giants – Things We Never Did
Sisters of Mercy – Gimme Shelter
Fields of the Nephilim – For Her Light
Sisters of Mercy – Driven Like the Snow
Siouxsie and the Banshees – Sin in My Heart

  25. I was just reading through some of the old posts. I haven’t posted a request in a while, but always listen to the show. On April 11th, Leslie posted something about “expiring soon” and you leaving in two weeks (which makes it now). Did I miss an announcement? I really hope this isn’t true. This channel and specifically this show is why I subscribe to Sirius XM.

Thank you for all the Rozz and XD. I love the tracks you choose.

    • I’m sorry for the confusion, I was talking about that specific show, they are accessible for two weeks on the app then they drop off to make room for the new one I guess. I just wish they stayed on the app longer. I listen to them several times a week. At least when they leave another awesome show takes its place….thanks to matt

  26. Just continuing from above. Catastrophe Ballet and Ashes are two of my all-time favorite albums. I’m glad they are in regular rotation here.

    Request for an upcoming show:
Gitane Demone – Lose This Gravity
Gitane Demone – Undressed For Love

Again, I really hope you aren’t leaving us. You totally make my week. Is there anything we can do to help?

  27. Awesome Show! Soo many great songs and memories. Would love to request.
Eyes of the Nightmare Jungle – Shadow Dance and or my all time Fav song from Mission UK TOS.

  28. Jerry Inscoe

Yet another great show – thanks for all you do, Matt!

    Request:

  29. Loved the 2nd hour industrial block

  30. Just loving sunday nights!

How about some Catherine Wheel- fflowers to hide

    Much appreciated

  31. Might be too late for this, but can you play Nine Million Rainy Days by JMC?
