The Ramones’ deluxe reissue campaign continues this fall with the 3CD/1LP expansion of the punk icons’ third album, Rocket to Russia, that will include two different mixes of the album, a host of unreleased studio recordings and a previously unissued live album recorded in 1977. INXS will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its world-conquering 1987 album Kick with a new expanded reissue that “extends” the previous 25th anniversary reissue with a half-dozen or so more remixes and alternate versions, plus a new Dolby Atmos mix of the album by Giles Martin.
The audiophile reissue of XTC’s fourth album, 1980’s Black Sea, is due out Nov. 10, and will include new 5.1 Surround, stereo and and high-resolution stereo mixes of the record by Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson, plus demos, instrumentals and music videos. More details here.
R.E.M.’s multiplatinum Automatic For the People will mark its 25th anniversary with a 4-disc reissue this November, with the original 1992 album joined by a live disc featuring the band’s famed Greenpeace benefit concert at the 40 Watt Club, another disc of 20 unreleased demos and a Blu-ray.

Pet Shop Boys today announced a new reissue series titled “Catalogue: 1985-2012” that will see the duo’s Parlophone studio albums remastesred and reissued in two- and three-disc editions featuring “Further listening” bonus discs with previously unreleased bonus tracks and demos.
