Chuck Mosley, the early frontman who appeared on the first two albums by hard-to-pin-down Bay Area outfit Faith No More and later replaced H.R. in seminal hardcore group Bad Brains, died this week “due to the disease of addiction,” his family announced today. He was 57.
Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley rejoined the recently reunited band on stage at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre last night for the first time in more than 20 years, singing his signature tune ‘We Care A Lot’ and four others during the band’s encore before a final duet with his replacement, Mike Patton.
The reunited Faith No More is now set to make its American debut with a pair of hometown concerts at San Francisco’s historic Warfield Theatre in the days leading up to the band’s much-anticipated appearance at April’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
