Last week saw the release of ‘Smithereens 2011,’ the first collection of new material from the New Jersey retro-rockers The Smithereens in 11 years. Here’s the video for first single ‘Sorry.’

This week’s new releases include a brand-new album from The Smithereens (‘Smithereens 2011′), INXS’ collection of re-recorded hits (‘Original Sin’), reissues of Material Issue (‘International Pop Overthrow’), The Art of Noise (‘Into Battle With…’), Sebadoh (‘Bakesale’) and Dead Can Dance (‘Spiritchaser’).

Fresh off last year’s 30th anniversary celebration, New Jersey retro-rockers The Smithereens reunite this spring with their ’80s-era producer Don Dixon for the band’s first album of new material in 11 years: the aptly titled ‘Smithereens 2011.’
