Reunited indie-pop combo The Primitives are back with their first new recordings in 20 years, and in case you didn’t catch ‘Never Kill a Secret’ — the title track off the band’s forthcoming EP — on this week’s Slicing Up Eyeballs radio show, you can now stream the track in its entirety here.
The Primitives will release their first new music in 20 years next spring in the form of the four-track ‘Never Kill a Secret’ EP — available as a 7-inch single or digital download — designed to coincide with a just-announced March tour of the U.K.
After initially cautioning that their reunion solely was about ‘nostalgia,’ the members of U.K. indie-pop act The Primitives have hit the studio to record their first new music since 1991’s ‘Galore,’ telling fans ‘hopefully there’ll be a new Primitives release pretty soonish.’
Reformed jangle-pop act The Primitives are extending their reunion with a quartet of just-announced shows in Europe and their native U.K. this summer — and are hinting at a return to the U.S. this fall following a successful New York City gig earlier this month.
