The Violent Femmes have got that co-headlining thing down cold. After two summers of sharing the bill with the Echo & The Bunnymen, the Femmes are heading out this summer first with X, on a run of previously announced dates, to be followed by a run of shows with piano man Ben Folds. After two consecutive summers of touring with Echo & The Bunnymen, the Violent Femmes will mix it up this year and head out on the road in May for a short co-headlining tour with X. The trek opens May 5 in San Diego and runs through May 17 in St. Louis, Mo., with a few Violent Femmes-only shows on either side.
