Welcome to Slicing Up Eyeballs, a site devoted to the past, present and future of ’80s college, indie and modern rock — the bands that set the stage for the post-Nirvana grunge and alternative revolutions.
We’ll be keeping tabs on everyone from The Smiths, The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Cure to Sonic Youth, Pixies and The Replacements, not to mention slightly more under-the-radar acts like The Godfathers, The House of Love and the Hoodoo Gurus.
