MBV Watch: My Bloody Valentine’s ‘Loveless,’ ‘Isn’t Anything’ reissues bumped to March

My Bloody Valentine, 'Isn't Anything'

Today we launch MBV Watch 2010, a new — and, alas, most likely permanent — feature solely dedicated to tracking release dates for the long-gestating reissues of My Bloody Valentine’s two albums: 1988’s Isn’t Anything and 1991’s Loveless. Bumped several times following their original June 2008 release date, the two albums had been scheduled for release in early January before getting nudged to February. Now it’s on to March, as Amazon.co.uk lists March 8 and CDWow.us shows March 15. Stay tuned!

  1. I am not convinced that this release is real anymore. Seriously, I gave up on this long ago and feel like it’s a joke now. I hope i am wrong but how much can a desperate fan take?

  2. Chinese Valentocracy

  3. Kevin is a lazy pot smoker. I know, I smoked with him in 1992. Did you ever really want to do something but when the time came to do it, you just didn’t feel like it or were tired. That’s freakin Kevin with these albums. He wants them perfect, he wants you to love them as much as him, but damn if it isn’t some work to complete it. His intentions are great, he wants us happy with the finished product. But like training your dog to behave, sometimes you just say screw it, i’ll do it tomorrow.

  4. They’ll be worth the wait!!! especially Loveless…one of THE best albums of the 90s…period. But yes this wait is kinda getting out of hand…

  5. I’m really more interested in the all-new album that he’s supposed to do. Re-issues are not that big a deal to me. I’ve already heard the albums. They’re great the way they are. Yeah they make it sound a little better but it’s not that much of a difference. And any extras they throw in….they’re just extras, that didn’t make the original cut, so they’re not usually the artist’s best work.
