Video: R.E.M.’s ‘Collapse Into Now’ trailer

The release of R.E.M.’s new album Collapse Into Now is still more than two months away, but the band is in full promotional mode, not just offering up free tracks but releasing a 2-minute trailer for the record that features the band performing many of the new tracks live in the studio.   1. Some of these songs sound more promising than ‘Discoverer’ and the one with Eddie Vedder. But man, these guys look OLD!!!

    Amazing how both REM and Duran Duran are releasing albums with the theme of ‘NOW’. Yet the guys in Duran Duran still look really good for their age, and REM looks like they belong in a nursing home, lol.

    I wonder if REM will play Phoenix and Portland, OR this time around? Two major cities they have been skipping since 1995 for some reason.
