The first solo album in a decade from Boomtown Rats leader Bob Geldof — the cheekily titled How to Compose Popular Songs That Will Sell — is now out in the U.S., and to help mark the occasion, Mercury/Vagrant Records slipped us three copies of the CD to award to lucky Slicing Up Eyeballs readers.
To enter, simply drop a comment below telling us how you feel about Mondays. We’ll accept entries — from anywhere in the world — through noon EST Friday, April 1. After that point, we’ll draw three entries at random and notify the winners via e-mail (so make sure to use legit addresses when you comment).

I love Mondays. Mondays are actually my Sundays. Kids in school so I get to catch up on the newspaper, correspondences, shopping or just couch potato-ing it in front of the telly!
Now don’t get my started on Tuesdays…
I don’t like Mondays because they usually suck . And I like Bob Geldof. Love Like a Rocket was a big hit at my wedding dance.

i’ll tell you why i don’t like mondays..if you really want to know. the main reason i hate mondays is because it’s followed by tuesday…the longest and hardest day of the week. it’s filled with the mantra of “just a few more day’s until the weekend…i wish it were the weekend..i hope i survive until the weekend”. it’s also the day that zombies generally attack because people are slow and sluggish from their weekend activities…you don’t know how many friends and family members i’ve lost to zombie attacks. too many to count.

I like Sunday and Monday because they were named after celestial objects (Sun and Moon, duh). Tuesday through Friday were named after Norse gods which were (somehow) equivalent to Roman gods which represented the planets, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus. I find this totally confusing but it is what it is. I am pretty neutral about Saturday. Where were we?
