Video: Bob Mould plays ‘If I Can’t Change Your Mind’ with The Roots on Jimmy Fallon

Sure, it was no Sugar reunion, but it was nice to see Bob Mould and The Roots jam through Copper Blue stand-out “If I Can’t Change Your Mind” on last night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” — even if it was only a minute long. The former Hüsker Dü frontman sat in with Fallon’s house band last night to promote his just-released autobiography“See A Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody.” You can see that clip above (via The Audio Perv), and be sure to check out the night’s actual musical guest — Sonic Youth leader Thurston Moore — right over here.

  1. This song deserves a LOT better treatment than this, as does Bob Mould. What’s next, a spot on Glee?

  2. Bob Mould is one of the most prolific song writer and performer I loved in the rock music scene. From his punk roots (husker du) and his band Sugar, Bob Mould seem to always hit the mark.

“If I Can’t Change Your Mind” remains to be one of my most favorite song of the 90s. Can’t believe he played this on Fallon. Thanks you for sharing this video.

  3. And I hope I would find that book. Thanks again.
