BACKSTORY: Lead by former Teardrop Explodes keyboardist Paul Simpson, the Liverpool act this week releases its first album in 21 years and only their third overall, a 13-track collection that features veterans of Echo & The Bunnymen, Spiritualized and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. RELEASE: Swing: Original Soundtrack
BACKSTORY: Formerly known as The Other Two, former New Order members and husband-wife team Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris this week release the soundtrack — a 6-track CD and 2-track 12-inch record — to Anna Blessman and Peter Saville’s recent exhibition at the Gallerie Frac Champagne-Ardenne in France.

ARTIST : Pop Will Eat Itself
RELEASES: Box Frenzy, Now For a Feast
BACKSTORY: Cherry Red this week reissues the 1987 debut and a 1988 compilation of early tracks and demos from the U.K. alt-rockers, each expanded with a bonus disc filled with home demos, rare tracks and cuts never before available on CD, as well as new sleeve notes by band members and “a wealth of unseen photographs.”
