Stream: Damien Rice covers U2′s ‘One’ as part of Q magazine’s ‘Achtung Baby’ tribute

Just a day after the first track from Q magazine’s upcoming full-album tribute to U2′s 20-year-old Achtung Baby — Jack White’s cover of “Love is Blindness” (stream it here) — hit the web comes our second taste: Damien Rice’s stark and intense makeover of “One.” The track premiered on BBC Radio 2 tonight, and, via Antiquiet, you can stream it below. The AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered CD arrives with the December issue of Q, due to hit U.K. newsstands on Oct. 26.
