Free MP3: Dead Can Dance, ‘Amnesia’ — off ‘Anastasis,’ 1st new album in 16 years

The reunited  Dead Can Dance — co-founders Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard — today debuted the first track off Anastasis, their first album in 16 years, which arrives Aug. 9 in conjunction with the launch of a massive world tour. Below, via Pitchfork, you can download the 5-minute radio edit of “Amnesia” in exchange for an e-mail address.

The band opens it reunion tour Aug. 9 in in Vancouver, B.C., proceeding first with a 16-date North American leg that runs through a Sept. 7 show in Austin, Texas, then heading over to Europe on Sept. 19, in Istanbul, for 22 concerts, wrapping up Oct. 28 in Dublin (full dates below). Dates in South America, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia also are promised.
