  • I like the music. It is reminiscent of the early 80’s sound. The vocal performance is not very good.

Again – another 80’s outfit with no relevance – Sons and Fascination, classic, Street Fighting Years – sub U2 (and to be fair U2 are crap) this is aural wallpaper.

Kerr, decent bloke, why not produce new bands instead, put your dollar into new interesting outfits rather than hashing out AOR elevator muzak?

People would respect you more – remember what date the New Gold Dream finished on? Enough said….

  • I like it a lot. And that’s saying a lot because I’ve also struggled to see the relevance of this band.

  • Arguably one of the best bands of the early 80s before they tragically became a tepid, stadium rock outfit a la U2. They returned to form on Graffiti Soul and to be fair, this is ok, but seriously, is there room for yet another hits collection from these guys?

  • Relevant to what?

  • Simple Minds are a great group. Better than the crap I heard on the Grammys. You wouldn’t have that new-wave sound everyone likes these days if it wasn’t for these guys.
