Morrissey does Morrissey: ‘Walking Dead’s’ Governor to read ‘Autobiography’ audiobook

David Morrissey on The Walking Dead

Perhaps now we know why The Governor has yet to re-appear on the new season of “The Walking Dead”: Actor David Morrissey, who portrays the power-mad villain on the AMC zombie series, has been busy recording the unabridged audiobook of Morrissey’s 457-page “Autobiography,” the singer revealed late Sunday via fansite True To You.

The audiobook will be released as a digital download on Dec. 5 by Penguin Classics, Morrissey’s U.K publisher. No word yet whether that also will be sold in the U.S. “Autobiography” is being published here  by G.P. Putnam’s Sons, a division of Penguin, on Dec. 3.

    that’s just absolutely brilliant!

  2. I like the idea of Morrissey by Morrissey but why isn’t the musician reading his own book? I think it might feel more genuine.
