The Converse sneaker company continues its “Three Artists, One Song” series of musical collaborations this week with some creative math, bringing in four people — Mick Jones and Paul Simonon of The Clash, plus R&B star Frank Ocean and producer Diplo — to craft the track “Hero,” available to stream and/or download below.
The song marks the first time the two ex-Clash mates have released music together since they appeared on Gorillaz’s Plastic Beach in 2010.
The Converse series previously brought together New Order’s Bernard Sumner, Hot Chip and Hot City for the song “Don’t Know What Love Was.”
