  1. I loved the tracks by Front line assembly, and Lycia.
    Great show tonight! Goodnight!

  2. Can you dig up “Up Down the Escalator” by the Chameleons nxt Sunday? Thanx!

  3. Great show once again! The Shriekback brought back fond memories as did the My Bloody Valentine.

If you can for next week:
WIR So and Slow It Grows
    Front 242 Kampferbeit
    Kate Bush Under the Ivy

    Many thanks!

  4. Any chance of playing the title track of Seventh Dream Of Teenage Heaven by Love & Rockets? One of my favourite tunes!

  5. Mat Gillespie

    Mr. Sebastian,

Great show tonight! Awesome to hear My Bloody Valentine and The Sugarcubes…

I won’t be able to listen in two weeks as I will be at the Bauhaus 12/2 show in LA. So stoked to be going….

So for next week how about:

    Bauhaus- Of Lillies and Remains
    Depeche Mode- Striped
    The Cure- One Hundred Years
    Cocteau Twins- Blue Bell Knoll
    Dead Can Dance- Mesmerism
Love and Rockets- Waiting for the Flood
David Bowie- Ziggy Stardust (I’ve heard you play Eno’s 3rd Uncle- by Eno in the 70’s, so this would work right?)

One or more of these would be RAD!

Any way, much love bro- keep the Dark Waves rolling!

  6. Kacey R Harrell

    Awesome show!

Am wondering if you’d be able to pull up one I’ve not heard played yet… unsure if it’d be a good show match.

    Anne Clark – Our Darkness

While punkish this ended up being a cross genre staple in Chicago for it’s unique pattern. Similar to how Yello’s Bostitch did.. but Anne’s definitely darker.
The lyrics almost make it into a dark poetry recital raging against bleak life..
I’d had others that I’ve never heard on the channel but dont think they match the show’s focus.

    Peace!

  7. Hot damn ya played FLA’s “Evil Playground” – thank you ! Also great to hear ‘Victory’ by Killing Joke – nice one. On to some requests :

Cyber-Tec – Let Your Body Die
    Peter Murphy – Blue Heart
    Japan – Sons of Pioneers
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry – Talk About The Weather

  8. Tremendous set last night, Matt! Really enjoyed the last half of the first hour with the including of MBV. The Lycia track and the covers were also top-notch.

Here are a couple requests for a possible DW in the near future –

Joy Division – Day of the Lords
X – I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts (or anything of theirs)

    Thanks as always!

  9. Tara Vanflower

    Thanks for the play!!

  10. Matt thanks for playing Trust by the Cure last night. Great show. Loved every minute of it. Seriously, you have the best show on Sirius. Keep it up.

  11. Thanks for the Nitzer Ebb two shows ago. And the great playlist this time. All the covers were wonderful.

For next time, maybe Concrete Blonde’s ‘Valentine’ off Group Therapy.

    Thanks.

  12. Hello Matt,

Could you play Cat Walker by The Diodes on next weeks show?

Also, I’m wondering if I could request a track released in 2018 by a group that has Steve Jansen from Japan as a member. If that’s not violating the Dark Wave rules, could you play Sever Me by Exit North on the show? Would be neat to let people know what Steve Jansen is up to these days. I guess you could say that Sever Me is a little bit like Hurt by Nine Inch Nails.

Thanks for all that you do!

  13. Hey Matt –

Dalis Car ‘His Box’ and Death In June ‘Hollows Of Devotion.

    Thanks a ton!

  14. Would love to hear The Flowerpot Men’s “Jo’s So Mean to Josephine” next week. Thanks.

  15. Matt! Great show! One of my faves ever! Just listened as I was in Punta Cana and had to save this joyness darkness for my return to cold, rainy Toronto. Much love xxx
