Violent Femmes and X double up for American co-headlining tour this May

After two consecutive summers of touring with Echo & The Bunnymen, the Violent Femmes will mix it up this year and head out on the road in May for a short co-headlining tour with X. The trek opens May 5 in San Diego and runs through May 17 in St. Louis, Mo., with a few Violent Femmes-only shows on either side.

The Violent Femmes are headed back out on tour this June, having just announced a 10-date run of shows in the western U.S. that includes a slot at the Arroyo Seco Weekend festival in Pasadena, Calif., alongside Neil Young, Jack White, Robert Plant, Kings of Leon and The Pretenders.
