Watch: Depeche Mode performs “Ghosts Again,” “Personal Jesus” on “The Late Show”

Depeche Mode on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”

Depeche Mode ramped up the advance promotion for its upcoming 15th album Memento Mori by appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Thursday night to perform the record’s first single “Ghosts Again” — plus a web-only run-through of “Personal Jesus.”

You can watch both performances below.

Memento Mori is the synthpop legends’ first new album in six years and the group’s first as a duo following the shocking death of co-founder Andy Fletcher last May of an aortic dissection. The 12-song album is due out March 24 on Columbia Records and can be preordered now on CD and deluxe clear double-vinyl via Amazon.

Dave Gahan and Martin Gore will embark on a massive 75-date world tour next month, opening with a short North American leg, then a long run of European shows and, beginning in September, the second North American leg. Tickets for the new North American show on sale at 10 a.m. local time today.

Here are those performances — plus the band’s tour dates.

  1. I hope this is the last DM album. They’ve been really struggling since “Universe”
