The Psychedelic Furs and Squeeze today announced they’re teaming up for a 26-date U.S. tour that will take the pair of beloved bands coast to coast beginning in early September.
The tour opens Sept. 8 at New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall and runs through a date in Las Vegas on Oct. 14, hitting Boston, Atlanta, Nashville, Detroit, Denver, Seattle, San Diego and more in between.
Artist pre-sales begin Wednesday, May 17 — code is HEAVEN — and the general on-sale is set for 10 a.m. local time Friday, May 19. See the bands’ websites for more details.
The Psychedelic Furs are on tour right now in support of 2020’s Made of Rain, the band’s first new album in nearly three decades — though they’re without sax player Mars Williams, who has been sidelined by cancer. Squeeze will be playing U.K. dates this summer ahead of the tour with the Furs.
