Video: The Primitives, ‘The Witch’ — off new album of ‘semi obscure’ ’60s covers

Fans of The Primitives received a pleasant surprise this morning, when the reunited indie-pop act posted a video on its Facebook page of its newly recorded cover of late-’60s obscurity “The Witch” by German duo Adam & Eve — which can be viewed above (check out the original song here).

Even better, it’s apparently part of a “nearly completed covers album of semi-obscure ’60s female fronted songs,” according to the YouTube description — which adds, “No idea when it’s out or who’s releasing it, but expect a psych tinged, fuzzed up, sunshine pop extravaganza when it becomes available.”
