Primal Scream to perform ‘Screamadelica’ live in London for first time this November

Primal Scream, 'Screamadelica'

Primal Scream will perform its 1991 classic Screamadelica— the album that saw the band shed its C86 indie-pop sound in favor of house-influenced, druggy dance-rock — in its entirety for the first time ever Nov. 27 at London’s Olympia, the NME is reporting today. Mojo adds that Bobbie Gillespie and Co. will be joined on stage that night by a gospel choir, a full horn section and original Screamadelica guest vocalist Denise Johnson. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Feb. 26 via GigsandTours.com.

  1. Dunno if you want to update this but Denise Johnson will not be performing with Primal Scream in November. They’ve decided to use someone else, dunno who, how strange? and wrong!
