  1. Squeeze, why? How boring.

  2. So Squeeze re-recorded their hits that sound like the originals, packaged them in a Greatest Hits cd and want people to buy it? Why not just remaster or do something cool with the originals?

    I agree with Wolfen.. why?

But my curiosity IS piqued… hmm…. I wonder if I can spot the difference? Well, that’s the catch , isn’t it? I’m playing RIGHT INTO THIER HANDS!!!!

  3. Daniel Dewey

Squeeze don’t own the rights to their back catalogue and Universal won’t play ball for a proper re-issue campaign. Nor will they give the rights back to Squeeze so they can do something with it.

Universal can also licence Squeeze’s music for any advert etc and Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook have no say in the matter, or receive a penny from it in royalties.

This is their way of trying to take back control!
