Last night, Talking Heads spinoff Tom Tom Club dropped by “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” in advance of tonight’s concert at Irving Plaza in New York, a show being billed as something of a 30th anniversary celebration for the band. Lead, as always, by spouses/rhythm section Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz, the band played its oft-sampled 1981 classic “Genius of Love” for broadcast — and then played a bonus version of “Wordy Rappinghood” for Fallon’s website.
