Stream: Dum Dum Girls cover The Smiths’ ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’

Dum Dum Girls, 'He Gets Me High'

Next month, Los Angeles’ Dum Dum Girls — equal parts The Ronettes and The Jesus and Mary Chain — will follow up their acclaimed 2010 Sub Pop debut with a four-track EP called He Gets Me High that closes with a blissfully fuzzed-out cover of The Smiths high-water mark “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.” The EP will be released March 1, but you can get an advance taste by streaming the full Dum Dum Girls’ cover below, thanks to the blog Old Waver.
