Duran Duran reschedules U.K. tour, 4 shows in Europe; plans full U.S. tour this fall

Duran Duran

After weeks of postponements due to Simon Le Bon’s vocal problems, Duran Duran has begun rescheduling many of its scrubbed concerts, including its entire U.K. arena tour and four key European shows — plus the band says it will mount a four-to-six-week U.S. tour beginning in late September.

On Monday, Duran Duran announced the rescheduling of concerts in Holland, Denmark, Belgium and France in September, as well as a new 11-date U.K. arena tour in late November and December (see full dates below). All of those show are in the same venues as originally booked this past spring before Le Bon lost his voice.

Also, the band announced a lone U.S. show — Sept. 26 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Calif. — and said a few more American dates will be announced in the coming week with the full tour expected to be revealed by the end of June.
