BACKSTORY: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab this week releases a numbered, limited-edition reissue of Andrew Eldritch and Co.’s 1985 debut on audiophile vinyl. The goth kingpins’ 10-track record features the singles “Walk Away,” “No Time to Cry” and “Black Planet,” plus album tracks such as “Marian (Version)” and “Some Kind of Stranger.”

BACKSTORY: Cherry Red continues its impressive reissue campaign for the Liverpool neo-psychedelic rockers, this week releasing an expanded and remastered 3CD edition of the band’s fourth album, originally released in 1988. The reissue features the original album plus two discs of rare and unreleased demos, remixes and B-sides.
