Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore is bookending the summer with network TV appearances, following his June slot on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” with an appearance last night on the “Late Show With David Letterman,” where he performed “Benediction,” the first single off his current solo album Demolished Thoughts.
