Adam Ant rolls out U.S. tour in February — first American trek in 16 years

With a new album reportedly in the works, New Wave/post-punk hero Adam Ant will bring his ongoing comeback tour — currently hitting dates throughout the U.K. this winter — across the pond to the U.S. in February, marking his first American trek in 16 years.

While the U.S. dates have yet to be formally announced, a search of ticketing and venue website reveals at least 13 shows already have been booked, beginning Feb. 2 in Los Angeles and wrapping up back in California on Feb. 25 with a performance in Anaheim. Other dates fall in Texas, Nevada, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin and New York.

Ant is said to be at work on a new album called Adam Ant Is The Blueblack Hussar in Marrying The Gunner’s Daughter; touring site reports it will be released in January, and while lists the album, there is no release date shown.

The singer currently is on tour in the U.K. through February.
