Morrissey announces spring tour of Japan — plus first-ever concert in South Korea

As promised, Morrissey will follow his tour of South America with at least seven concerts in Japan this April and May — plus the former Smiths singer will perform for the first time ever in South Korea. It’s not clear, though, if the dates — announced via fansite True To You — are complete, since the Japanese tour was originally billed as a 10-date run.

The tour opens April 19 in Sendai and runs through May 2 in Nagoya, with two shows set for Tokyo. Then Moz is slated to perform what appears to be a one-off South Korean concert in Seoul on May 6. In his original tease of the upcoming Japanese tour, Moz also said he’d be adding shows in Thailand, the Philippines and New Zealand.

  1. Hope this setlist change a bit when playing at Guadalajara. I’m waiting for “How Soon Is Now?”, “Let Me Kiss You”, “The Last of the Famous International Playboys” and “Irish Blood, English Heart”.
