Having just wrapped up a run of spring U.S. dates across the northeast and midwest, The Psychedelic Furs have announced a new batch of American concerts in late spring and early fall, including two dates supporting The Go-Gos in California in late September.
In late May and early June, the Furs will play four shows in Massachusetts and New York before heading to England for a July 1 slot at the Hop Farm Festival, alongside Peter Gabriel, Bob Dylan and Suede. It’s the band’s only scheduled date outside of the U.S. at the moment.
Then, in September, the band returns for six shows in Texas, New Mexico and California, including the “Totally 80s” concert at the Hollywood Bowl headlined by The Go-Gos and also featuring The Motels and Bow Wow Wow. After that, the Furs support The Go-Gos again in Saratoga, Calif.
